Insulated glass
Insulated glass units are hermetically sealed combinations of two or more panes of glass separate by a dry air or argon space.
The air or argon trapped between the two or more panes of glass act as an insulator slowing the rate which heat can pass through the unit.
Insulated glass improves thermal performance, significantly reducing cost of heating or air conditioning.
The more air or argon sandwiched between the glasses, the better insulator effect will have.
